We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Project Engineer to join our client’s CBD Sydneybased team.
The Role
The Microsoft 365 Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions for our organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team and stakeholders to ensure that Microsoft 365 solutions meet business requirements and deliver value to the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
- Implement security hardening measures for Microsoft 365 solutions to ensure the protection of organizational data
- Manage and configure Microsoft Intune for Windows, MAC and Mobile devices and application management
- Set up and manage Autopilot for Windows and MAC device deployment
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access management
- Work with VMware and Hyper-V environments for virtualization needs
- Implement and manage cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with the Head of Projects, Project Manager, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical support to end-users and address technical issues related to Microsoft 365 solutions
- Maintain technical documentation of all M365 related processes and activities
- Stay up to date on Microsoft technologies, features, and best practices, and evaluate new features and recommend their implementation to enhance organisational productivity
- Act as the escalation point to the service desk team and clients
Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required
- Proven experience with Azure, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, VMware, and Hyper V.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security best practices.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (MS-102, MS-500, AZ-104, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
