Due to growth, Interlinked is looking to recruit an IT Project Coordinator to join their growing team based in CBD Sydney. The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter, someone who takes the initiative, shows leadership in managing tasks, and is not afraid to own their responsibilities with confidence.

 

The Role

The IT Project Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by serving as the central point of coordination between internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors. The role aims to enhance consistency, efficiency, and the overall impact of service delivery by applying sound project management practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of projects from start to finish, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, client onboarding, and relocations
  • Facilitate project meetings, document outcomes, and ensure timely follow-ups with stakeholders
  • Manage project documentation and logistics, including schedules, budgets, risk registers and reports
  • Contribute to the improvement of delivery workflows, project templates, and governance practices
  • Support financial processes, such as quoting, invoicing, and tracking billable hours
  • Liaise with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure consistent project delivery, resource alignment, and adherence to client expectations, and SLAs
  • Support the Sales team during the discovery and scoping phase by assisting with the preparation of project estimates, timelines, and onboarding plans and assist in evaluating project performance
  • Attend internal handover meetings to confirm project readiness and documentation completeness
  • Participate in ongoing training to strengthen delivery and technical capability

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in project management, IT or related field
  • At least 2 – 3 years of experience in a project coordination or service operations role within an MSP or IT services company
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to scope, deliver, and manage end-to-end technical projects, ensuring alignment with budget, timelines, and key deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with projects and ticketing tools such as Autotask, ConnectWise or similar
  • Ability to confidently communicate technical and non-technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation
  • Adept at managing client expectations and competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects whilst maintaining delivery quality
  • High-level organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
