About the Role

As a Field Services Technician, you’ll be the face of their business for Melbourne clients — delivering onsite technical support, assisting with go-live projects, and resolving IT challenges quickly and professionally.

This role offers variety, one day you might be rolling out new devices, the next resolving urgent network issues, or supporting the Professional Services team with an important project. You’ll also occasionally work from the office, supporting the service desk with tickets and calls.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Administering and troubleshooting Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, and SharePoint
  • Resolving LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and routing issues
  • Installing, upgrading, and configuring IT hardware and business-critical applications
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance and proactive system checks
  • Assisting with Professional Services go-live activities
  • Managing your ConnectWise calendar, documenting site changes, and keeping client records up to date
  • Identifying opportunities for clients while onsite and passing them to Account Management
  • Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to clients and colleagues

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a field services, desktop support, or similar technical role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, networking, and Microsoft environments
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills — you can explain tech in a friendly, easy-to-understand way
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (travel to client sites required)

What’s in it for you:

  • A paid day off on your birthday
  • Permanent full-time position with competitive salary
  • Ongoing training and industry certification support (Pluralsight, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Variety of work environments and technologies
  • Supportive, approachable team culture where your growth matters
  • Recognition for going above and beyond
