As an Account Manager, your goal will be to continuously improve the organisation’s market position, and retain and grow your portfolio of clients. By building extraordinary relationships and upholding our service commitments, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our exceptional customer service reputation, and raising the bar across the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key point of contact for all assigned clients in your portfolio
  • Present at, and facilitate all client review meetings and contract renewal discussions in collaboration with the Sales Manager
  • Act as the escalation point for all service level issues within your portfolio
  • Retain all customers by building strong and robust relationships
  • Identify opportunities within your portfolio of clients to cross-sell and up-sell relevant products that will improve their overall IT strategy
  • Collaborate internally with Service Delivery, Projects and Service Co-ordinators to ensure SLA’s are being delivered by the Service Desk
  • Follow up and driving company marketing campaigns

 

About YOU

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in B2B sales or account management
  • Ability to manage a large portfolio of clients with competing needs and SLA’s
  • Ability to engage others through credible communication and presentation
  • Ability to show initiative and self-motivation
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills that benefit the business and customer
  • Professional and calm approach to resolving complex issues at a senior management level

Bonus Points

  • Experience within the MSP sector, or experience in Technology/IT is a definite advantage
  • Selling technology solutions
  • Account or Relationship Manager experience
  • Sales or Business Development experience an advantage
  • Qualification in IT or related discipline an advantage
