About the Role

As an Onsite IT Technician, you are the face of KMTech working directly with our clients to keep their systems running seamlessly.

You’ll provide hands-on technical support across a variety of environments, solving problems in real time and building strong relationships along the way.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting out from behind the desk, thrives on problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide onsite IT support to clients, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimise downtime
  • Perform system maintenance, updates, and installations
  • Escalate complex issues where required while maintaining ownership of the client experience
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive support and clear communication
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and system improvements


What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate III in Information Technology
  • MS-900 Fundamentals certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (desirable)
  • OH&S and Working at Heights certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Strong understanding of IT security basics and remote support tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and time management

  • Implementing and Managing Windows 11 (Level 1–2 capability)
